So I decided to start knitting

I bought some yarn, 2 big skeins

new needles

I decided to go for this cardigan

I joined Jane´s halloweenswap a couple of months ago

All 24 blocks are now of to USA.

Birthday celebration

We had a very tasty barbecue

Then it was time for a second gift

I made her a toiletbag

That she could use

When she were going on her surprice

Summer summery part 1

This is my first week at work after 4 weeks of vacation

I have spent some time looking through all the pictures (about 450).

Summer-gifts

You all know

that I have been away

to my and DH´s hometowns for a week and a half.

Some posts ago I showed some peeks of

what I was doing as gifts for our relatives.

Now can I show all the results

First my fathers Birthday-gift,

a mailbox that I painted

The one that he had (also decorated by yours truly) was 10 years old

and some kids have tried to blow it away New years Eve

Then comes 3 Clothpeg-bags in different colours.

They were realy funny to make.

The pattern comes from the swedish magazine FQ

The blue one for my mother and the pink one chosed my sister

Then I made a rucksack for my sister.

My DH is trying it


And finally the last one goes to my dear sister in law Anki in Kalmar

Birthday-gift

I´m going to a birthday party tomorrow.

So, yesterday I started my sewing machine.

That little darling has been soooo... lonely during my travelling, but now is mama back.

I decided to make a toilet bag.

The pattern comes from a book I have (the title? hmm... don´t remember).

This is the third from the same pattern that I do,

I think it´s easy to make and rather big.

Along the railway

Great weather today.

We are really lucky this week with a lot of sunshine.

Today we have been out and moving our legs!!!!

For the first time I have used a "dressin".

Haven´t any idea what it´s called in english.

But I hope you understand what kind of a vehicle it is,

when you look at the picture.

It´s like a bike on the railway.

I took the first ride and I was lucky because ,

it was almost downhill the whole way.

So my DH wasn´t that happy when we were going homewards.

This is my mother to the left, me in the middle

and my younger (and only) sister to the right.

Just having a short pause.

Then it was time for lunch.

And some pancakes and homemade (my mother) strawberry jam
for dessert.

I recomment this trip if you come to Österlen .

Tomorrow are we heading for Malmö.

We are picking up our daugher and her boyfriend at the airport.

Since we are in Malmö -

I´m going to Stoff och stil (a big fabric shop in Malmö) and visit 2 quiltshops.
