Great weather today.

We are really lucky this week with a lot of sunshine.

Today we have been out and moving our legs!!!!

For the first time I have used a "dressin".

Haven´t any idea what it´s called in english.

But I hope you understand what kind of a vehicle it is,

when you look at the picture.

It´s like a bike on the railway.

I took the first ride and I was lucky because ,

it was almost downhill the whole way.

So my DH wasn´t that happy when we were going homewards.

This is my mother to the left, me in the middle

and my younger (and only) sister to the right.

Just having a short pause.

Then it was time for lunch.

And some pancakes and homemade (my mother) strawberry jam
for dessert.

I recomment this trip if you come to Österlen .

Tomorrow are we heading for Malmö.

We are picking up our daugher and her boyfriend at the airport.

Since we are in Malmö -

I´m going to Stoff och stil (a big fabric shop in Malmö) and visit 2 quiltshops.

On vacation

We are on vacation so just a short update

The weather is sunny and quite warm.

We are in Simrishamn, south of Sweden.

Like a busy bee

B-zy, b-zy, and more buzzzzzyy.

The summer has arrived at last.
Today it´s sunny and warm.

Just 4 more workingdays and then vacation for 4 weeks.

I got to have some projects finished before Friday.

Because on Saturday, early in the morning are we leaving Karlholm.

Driving 800km to the south of Sweden .

We´re gonna spend 1 week in a town called Simrishamn (my birthtown).

I paint and while it is drying....

I walk over to the sewing machine

Sew a bit on a little rucksack...

Then back to the mailboxpainting.

I think this is what you can call a creative mess, or ???

The kitchentable is once again occupied.

Protest....
I want some food please!!!

Mailbox

Today I haven´t been sewing.

I have been painting!!

A mailbox, a birthday-gift to my father.

I used to paint a lot but now it´s mostly quilting.

So , of course I have a new quilt-project.

I have (at least I think I have) chosen the fabrics for this one.

And I´m not gonna tell you what it´s going to be.

I´m sorry that I can´t show any pictures of what I´m doing.

But everything are gifts.

Midsummers Eve

Today we celebrate Midsummers Eve in Sweden.

We make a "Midsommarstång" (picture), dance around it and have a lot of outdoor activities.

But today it´s a lousy weather.

The rain is pouring and it´s cold (about 54 degrees Fahrenheit).

Hopefully it´s getting better during the day.

I´m back behind the sewing machine.

You just get a little peak today.

It´s a gift for someone who might read my blog.

Canvas-scrapping
