Quilt festival

Amy at Park City Girl is hosting an online Quilt Festival ,

and I have joined it.

It´s a bit late since the festival started April 17th, but it runs until April 24th.

Amy asks bloggers to show their favourite quilt and tell a little story about it.

I think it's very difficult to choose....

But I have decided to show you a quilt I made for a baby in the family.

Ebba got this quilt when she was baptised in february 2008.
I designed the layout myself, used the SnS -template for the different blocks.

The stithery is a free download, but I can´t remember the webadress.

The fabric is Flirtation from Moda.

On the back I put a label with a picture of my family to show who had given Ebba the gift.

Ankie - this is such a sweet little quilt - I would never have thought of using a stitchery for the centre but it works so well - thanks for the inspiration

What a pretty quilt for a baby. I like the way you combined quilted blocks with stitchery.
