Another package

last year I joined Dawn´s PIF

today the gifts arrived

and when I opened it........................

DAWN - you have really done it

a very cute bag- in my colours

a fabric in Australian design

and 2 DMC-threads

THANK YOU SO MUCH DAWN

and yesterday I finished this

pincushion organizer

the pattern comes from

and it is a free tutorial

Barbeque

believe it or not

not - if I look out the window now

but yes we had a barbeque yesterday

it was sunny and really warm

found some burgers in the freezer

yummy

and now, today

it is snowing

whow..............

what a surprise!!!

I have been waiting , waiting, waiting

and wating

for some fabrics I bought from USA.

Friday I found out that the postoffice have had one of the packages more than 2 weeks

they had forgott to send me a note about it

the same day the other one arrived

but they had found their way to me via the custom at Arlanda

First Cours by Tara Reed and Garden Song by Nancy Halvorssen

I love all fabrics by NH

these come from Rossville Quilts a new shop to me

the Caterwauling prints and the mix come from

Tranquility Quilts and fabric shop also new to me

I can recommend them both

Extreme makeover

not of me

but I feel like I need one

I have now been home from work 5 days

and this cold really make me feel

grey :(

a makeover would be nice

no.....

we have done some makeover

in our bathroom, sauna and laundry room downstairs

today we don´t have any sauna

we have never used it during this 10 years we lived here

so if anybody needs a heating device (bastuaggregat) for a sauna

you are welcome to pick it up for free:)))

instead we have a guesttoilet and a new laundryroom.

Log Cabin Hidden star

is the name of this quilt

I started and finished the top

when I was at Quiltcamp,
november last year

but now finally it´s quilted and finished

I used one jellyroll of the Crazy Eight collection by Sandy Gervais

and fleece on the backside so it´s really warm and cosy

the pattern did I find in the book

(I like this name because lintotte in Swedish is a little blond child)

Confession

I have to make a confession!!!!

I´m an addict

Not only to Quilt

everyone is doing it

or maybee not,

you have made me start to crochet

not nice of you :)

I really like sitting wathing tv and do some crochet

Springtime is getting closer

It has been a great weekend

we have finally seen the sun

yipeeee!!!

Inside it lightened me sewing-room

as you can see on my quilttop

being prepared to be quilted

Outside

some of the snow is gone

but there are a lot of it left

Drip, drop, drip, drop........

I love that sound outside my room

When spring is coming

it´s much more fun to sew

this is a basket

made of some scraps

an Easter-table runner

originally it was in pink and white colours

but I choosed yellow and black instead
